How our Athlete Sales Work
Our athletes can choose from 2 different models for fulfillment of their apparel:
1) Limited Edition "Drops" - This method means that the athlete items will only be available for a 2 week period. For that period all sales are considered "pre-sales" meaning you're committing to purchase the item, and will be billed now for an item that will be produced and shipped out at the end of the pre-sale period. If this is the method the athlete has chosen the item page will notate that this item is "limited edition" and pre-sale. Pre-Sales allow athletes to minimize the production costs, and in turn many pass that savings on to you, the customer.
2) On Demand - On demand is the traditional way we produce athlete items. This method means that when you purchase an item, our production team gets to work producing it. Athlete Zone uses this method because it helps athletes limit their upfront cost when launching an item. On demand means that Athlete Zone needs a few days to produce the item before we can ship them out.
The tables below show the amount of time it takes Athlete Zone to produce items once ordered, and we've provided a shipping time estimate courtesy of USPS and UPS.
